Time is of the essence when it comes to any construction project. At J & J Quality Construction, we employ a streamlined home remodeling process to ensure the timely completion of any home improvement project.
Free In-Home Consultation
It all starts here!
During the free consultation step of our home remodeling process, we’ll visit your home to introduce ourselves and examine the area you want to remodel, whether it’s your entire home or a single area like a kitchen or bathroom.
We’ll discuss important details like your goals and budget as well as the next steps and logistics. From there, we’ll review layout changes, take measurements, and answer any questions you may have.
After this initial meeting, we’ll send you a detailed written estimate.
Pre-Construction
Let’s get to work!
During the pre-construction step of our home remodeling process, we will again meet with you at your home, this time to finalize layouts and project details and introduce you to your project manager. If custom cabinets are part of your full home or kitchen/bathroom remodel, you’ll meet with our cabinet designer.
Finally, you’ll approve the written cost estimate, and we’ll both sign the contract for your project. Our contract will include the project timeline, payment schedule, and a detailed scope of work.
You’ll then select and purchase the fixtures and finishes you would like to use for your project. It's that easy!
Construction Begins
Out with the old, in with the new!
The real physical labor of your home remodeling project happens during this step in the process. Your cabinet designs will be developed, and the demo phase will begin.
Our experienced team will remove any outdated materials and complete the necessary framing and rough-in work behind the walls, followed by installing new drywall.
As the cabinets, tile, flooring, and countertops are installed, you’ll see it all coming together. Finally, the walls will be painted and your selected fixtures will be installed.
Project Completion
The finish line!
As your project nears completion, we’ll conduct a walkthrough and note any remaining tasks in need of attention. Once these tasks are finished, we’ll begin cleanup efforts.
Upon confirmation of your satisfaction, we will schedule a photography session to document the completed remodel, and your one-year warranty period will begin. Issues that arise within the warranty period will be remedied at no extra charge.
